On this episode of the Raw Islam Podcast with Imam Azhar – a 2017 Podcast Award nominated podcast – he asks if in Islam, is what we believe is the power we have; or is it the acts of service that we are called to do which makes us who we are?
With a late start to the show due to technical difficulties B.C. jumps right in with a question that came from a listener based on last weeks show. That question was about if God had given us science to help us understand the world around us better, can we rely on what we are learning through that science?
Imam Azhar examples that God has given us science to better understand this world we live in, and as an example he highlights the two bodies of water – one salt water, the other fresh – they touch but they never mix.
The Imam says that we should accept science, but at the same time we have to acknowledge that it was God that gave us this knowledge, and He has the final say in everything.
Then Imam Azhar asks B.C. as the head of Venn Network, does his position give him power or should he use his position to service others?
